Wedding DJ prices vary hugely, and not just because of who's behind the decks: the sound system, the lighting, the hours and whether the DJ also covers the ceremony and drinks reception change the quote completely. Here's our price and what it includes, the market ranges, worked examples and what to ask any DJ before you sign.
Our price: €650 + VAT for 4 hours
Our DJ with sound and lighting starts at €650 + VAT for 4 hours of service. We arrive 90 minutes early to set up, and that time doesn't count towards your hours. It includes:
- A resident DJ for the whole service.
- A sound system for up to 250 people.
- Dance-floor lighting and a smoke machine.
- A wireless microphone for speeches.
- A pre-event meeting to agree the style, must-plays and a do-not-play list.
- Setup, takedown and travel within the first 40 km of Barcelona.
The DJ plays open format and reads the room: house, reggaeton, rumba catalana, 90s and 2000s hits, afro house or techno, depending on what the floor asks for and what you've agreed. Each extra hour costs €90 + VAT.
How much does a wedding DJ cost in Barcelona? Market prices
Based on prices observed in September 2026, and always approximately, wedding DJs in Barcelona break down roughly like this:

Some DJs also offer “deluxe” packs starting at around €850. The differences mostly come down to the hours included, whether sound, lights and a microphone are in the price, and how many parts of the day are covered. And watch out: not every listing says whether VAT is included.

The Full Club pack brings all three services together, with the DJ for 4 hours with sound, lights and smoke, the music planning meeting, a guest book with the printed strips and the 15% combination discount already applied. What pushes a DJ's price up or down
- Hours of service. Four hours of dancing doesn't cost the same as covering the ceremony, drinks and party. Always compare like for like.
- Kit included. Sound sized for your guest numbers, dance-floor lights, smoke and a microphone. Some entry-level prices don't include all of it.
- Ceremony and drinks reception. We cover them with the same kit and you just add hours; in other quotes it may mean a separate set-up.
- Sound limiter. If your venue has a limiter, the system has to sound full below it. You give us the permitted dB and we size the rig for that.
- Travel and date. Kilometres beyond the included radius and, on the market, possible weekend or peak-season surcharges.
- Combining services. 10% off with two services and 15% with three.
What to ask any DJ before booking
- Are sound, lights and a microphone included? And how many people is the system designed for?
- How many hours are included, and what does an extra hour cost?
- Is there a pre-event meeting? To agree the style, must-plays and a do-not-play list.
- Can they cover the ceremony and drinks reception? With the same kit or an extra one?
- How do they work with your venue's sound limiter?
- Are setup and travel included? And what time do they arrive to set up?
- Does the price include VAT?
How many hours of DJ do you need?
Count the hours from when the DJ starts playing to the end of the party. If you only want them for the dancing, the 4 included hours cover, for example, 11 pm to 3 am. If you'd also like music at the ceremony and drinks reception, add those hours: each one is €90 + VAT, and setup isn't charged as service time. Before deciding, check with your venue what time the music has to stop.
