If you're looking up photo booth prices for your wedding, the headline figure on its own tells you very little: two quotes of €450 + VAT can include very different things. This guide covers what ours costs and what's in it, the price ranges you'll see on the market, and what to ask before booking any photo booth in Barcelona, whether it's ours or someone else's.
Our price: €450 + VAT for 3 hours
The base rate is €450 + VAT and covers 3 hours of service with your guests. It's also the price of our Spark pack. Setting up doesn't eat into those hours: we arrive 90 minutes early, set up and test the lighting before your time starts. Here's what the price includes:
- An open-style photo booth with a DSLR camera and studio lighting.
- Unlimited prints from a dye-sublimation printer: each strip comes out in about 8 seconds, dry and resistant to water and fingerprints.
- A personalised strip design with your names and the date.
- A props box and a backdrop of your choice.
- GIFs and instant sending to guests' phones by QR code.
- A private online gallery the next day (within 24 hours).
- A technician for the whole service, plus setup and takedown.
- Travel included within the first 40 km of Barcelona.
If you need more time, each extra hour is €90 + VAT. Beyond those 40 km we add €0.45 per kilometre on the one-way road distance over 40. There are no other charges.
How much does a photo booth cost in Barcelona? Market prices
In September 2026, Barcelona photo booths listed on bodas.net advertise “from” prices of roughly €300 to €950. Brands that operate across Spain tend to start at around €690, and some English-speaking operators quote €325–420 + VAT for 2 hours.
These figures are approximate, they change often and not every listing says whether VAT is included. Still, they give you a sense of scale: the gap between the low and high end is rarely about the camera, but about what the starting price includes. Hours, prints, a technician, travel and extras are what end up moving the bill.

The Celebration pack pairs the photo booth with the 360 booth for 3 hours, with two technicians, a custom strip and video design, a confetti cannon and a carpet. If you want music too, the Full Club pack (photo booth, 360 and DJ) costs €1,400 + VAT and includes a guest book with the printed strips. What pushes a photo booth price up or down
- Hours of service. This matters most. Always compare like for like: 2 hours isn't 3.
- Travel. Ask what radius the price covers and how anything beyond it is charged. With us, Barcelona, Castelldefels, Sitges, Mataró and the Vallès add nothing.
- Prints. Some entry-level rates cap the number of prints; with unlimited printing there's nothing to count.
- Extras. A guest book, a custom backdrop or a carpet may be charged separately. Our Full Club pack includes the guest book with the printed strips.
- Number of technicians. Every service needs its own technician: two set-ups, two people.
- Date. On the market, weekends and peak season can cost more. Always ask whether your date carries a surcharge.
- Combining services. Booking several together usually brings the total down: we take 10% off with two services and 15% with three.
What to check in any photo booth quote
Before you compare figures, ask for these points in writing. They apply to us and to any other supplier:
- Is there a technician the whole time? Someone has to reload paper, keep the queue moving and deal with anything unexpected.
- Are prints unlimited? If not, how many are included and what does each extra strip cost?
- How many hours are included, and what does an extra hour cost?
- Is travel included? Up to how many kilometres, and how is the rest calculated?
- Does setup count towards your hours? It makes sense for the booth to be ready before your guests arrive.
- Is there a digital gallery? When is it delivered, is it private and does it include the GIFs?
- Does the price include VAT? Always compare figures with and without VAT separately.
Ask about space too. Ours takes up about 2 × 2 m and, outdoors, needs a covered spot: the printer can't cope with direct sun, humidity or salty sea air. And look at the booking terms: we hold your date with a 30% deposit, the balance is paid the week of the event and, if you cancel more than 60 days ahead, the deposit is refunded in full.
How many hours of photo booth do you need?
At a wedding, the most practical option is to have the booth open during the drinks reception and the first part of the party: that's when guests are on their feet, in the mood and still looking sharp. During dinner everyone is seated, so paying for those hours rarely makes sense.
- 3 hours covers, for example, the second half of the drinks reception and the start of the dancing.
- 4 or 5 hours makes sense if the drinks reception is long or you want the booth open for most of the party.
- Only count time with guests: setup, 90 minutes beforehand, isn't charged as service time.
If you're getting married at a masia or a winery outside the city, tell us the town when you ask for a quote. In the Penedès, for instance, Sant Sadurní d'Anoia (45 km) adds €2.25 + VAT of travel: (45 − 40) × €0.45.
